Trio Lumiere is dedicated to illuminating the deepest meaning in music both new and old, through powerful, passionate and insightful performance and education of the highest level. We are committed to engaging in musical projects that build bridges across cultures, continents and languages and that shine a compassionate light on the full spectrum of our shared humanity. We find particular inspiration in performing music that is both rooted in the past but carries relevance in our present time; including works by living composers, humorous compositions, works that celebrate folk traditions, and pieces composed by women. |
